Pathbound is a choose-your-own-adventure game for iOS and Android, published by Studio Mundial. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data you provide: If you set a leaderboard display name, that name is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect your real name, email, or account information.
Data stored on your device: Your game progress (current story node, coins earned, endings found) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use a device backup service.
Purchase data: If you purchase coin packs or a Pathbound+ subscription, transactions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) and through RevenueCat. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made, but we never see your payment details. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Advertising data: Pathbound displays rewarded video ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings. Google's privacy policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.
Pathbound is rated 17+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
With your permission, Pathbound may send local push notifications to remind you to return to a story in progress. These notifications are generated on your device and are not sent via any external server. You can disable them at any time in your device's notification settings.
All data stored by Pathbound lives on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. We do not maintain any server-side records tied to individual users.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete data about you. Since we store no personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to provide or delete beyond what is already on your device. For any privacy questions, contact us at mymadinatee@gmail.com.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of Pathbound after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
